The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest the person in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease - Thomas Alva Edison

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine is primary health care focused on preventative medicine and the use of natural treatments to promote health and well being. The primary goal of naturopathic treatment is to address the cause of an illness rather than simply treating the symptoms. While naturopathic treatments alleviate specific symptoms, with little or no side effect.  In fact the side effects are often positive ones including better energy, weight loss, improved sleep and clarity of thought.

The goal of naturopathic medicine is to remove blockages to the natural flow of energy in the body.  Blockages can present in many forms for example, poor diet, inactivity, parasites, yeast overgrowth, toxicity, and allergies to name a few.  The goal of the naturopathic doctor is to assist the patient to remove the blockage to restore the natural flow back to the body. Given the opportunity, the body can re-gain its equilibrium and maintain a state of health.
